Meridian’s latest flagship sets entirely new standards for clarity, dynamics, imaging and realism. DSP8000s are breathtaking in their ability to place musicians in precise locations in your room, with even subtle body movements clearly audible. The system also has the power to bring alive the most challenging motion picture sound track or rock band. The DSP8000 is designed to reproduce sounds at up to full natural level while providing all the resolution required by sources of up to 24bit and 192kHz. Such demanding dynamic resolution called for a new approach to cabinet construction and selection of advanced drive unit materials.

DSP7200 Digital Active Loudspeaker
The concept of the Digital Active DSP Loudspeaker, invented by Meridian over 15 years ago, is today well-proven as by far the most musically and dynamically accurate and effective way to approach sound reproduction. Meridian's DSP7200 takes this technology to a new high.Sharing many of the features of the flagship DSP8000, the DSP7200 is suited to a wide range of environments including somewhat smaller spaces and a strong supporting role in Meridian Digital Theatre applications.

DSP5500 Digital Active Loudspeaker
The DSP5500 is a powerful 3-way single-box DSP loudspeaker in a front-facing format that can be effectively built into system cabinets - DSP functions are provided to correct the frequency response in a number of locations. A unique removable wood and steel side panel arrangement allows for easy colour changes or custom finishes. The side panels are bolted in place; in addition to providing magnetic shielding, the resulting solid, stiff cabinet provides massive acoustic damping, giving the speaker remarkable mid-range transparency. 

The DSP5200 is a powerful yet fairly compact (under a metre high) digital loudspeaker system that out-performs anything of its size, while its visual design and elegance remain second-to-none.Taking its cue from the flagship DSP8000, the 5200 distils its essence into a smaller package that is suitable not only for delivering superb sound where space is limited, but also more expansive environments, as well as being suitable as a side speaker, for example, in larger surround system. 

The more powerful of Meridian's active subwoofers, the SW5500 features dual 300mm long-throw custom drivers for superb power handling, with the amplifiers and power supplies to match. With both analogue and digital inputs it is ideal for larger systems of either type.

The smaller of Meridian's active subwoofers, the SW1600 features a 300mm long-throw custom driver for superb power handling, with the amplifier and power supply to match. With both analogue and digital inputs it is ideal for systems of either type.
The SW1600 features a sealed cabinet, for maximum flexibility in positioning, whether free-standing or as part of a built-in installation. It is ideal as a mono subwoofer for a Meridian Digital Theatre system, in particular to give exciting cinema effects and added realism to movies. The SW1600 is optimised for both music and movie soundtrack applications and integrates seamlessly into a system.

Meridian installation loudspeakers deliver the performance of a stand-alone design in a discreet enclosure with minimal visual impact - and awesome power. Heavy, rigid enclosures minimise wall and cavity excitation so you hear the speakers, and not wall resonances. The sound is incredibly clear and dynamic.
Available in three sizes, the 300 Series consists of ultra-slimline systems for in-wall (paintable white surface grille), flush-mount (completely hidden, eg behind wall coverings) and on-wall applications, featuring metal-cone bass drivers, and a wide-dispersion horn-loaded ribbon tweeter for superb performance anywhere within a broad listening area. 

200 Series in-ceiling/wall speakers are 2-way designs with an 8in (200mm) bass driver and pivoting tweeter, for surface mounting in-ceiling or in-wall applications. 200 Series in-ceiling/wall speakers are available with a square or round bezel. The circular passive version (P200z) is shown here. 

The M420 is an active analogue variant of the DSP420 In-Wall speaker with the same bass drivers and power amplifiers as the DSP version. The back-box available for both units has been redesigned to permit easier and quicker installation, including BNC connectors on the digital version and XLRs on the analogue.

                                                              CD PLAYERS

 808.2 inherits Meridian's 25-year tradition of award-winning players, yet sets a whole new benchmark. Most significant is a new, proprietary digital upsampling filter system developed by Meridian and included for the first time in the new 808.2, which adds a new accuracy and clarity to CD replay - even correcting digital faults in the original recording.The 808.2 also includes Meridian's SpeakerLink single-wire interconnect system.

 The G06 is an ideal player for many applications, such as an integrated analogue stereo system comprising the G06 CD player and the G51 receiver, while the G06's coaxial digital outputs will drive Meridian DSP loudspeakers directly to form a superb quality all-digital stereo CD replay system.

Upsampling allows the Meridian G08.2 to deliver the best from the Compact Disc medium, which is capable of exceptional results. Upsampling enables filtering to take place far beyond the range of human hearing, as well as offering other audible benefits right across the audio band, for ultimate transparency from a CD source.A high-speed drive ensures accurate playback of even the most difficult disc.

                                                               DVD PLAYERS

The 800 is Meridian's definitive statement on the current and future quality of DVD. It also plays CD and VCD.Its performance is so exceptional, members of the press have had to create a new category for it. The 800 includes the features needed to get the very best from DVD in a high-end home theatre, to interface with state-of-the-art digital surround processors (such as the Meridian 861) and to handle the latest high-quality projection and plasma systems.

The G95 is a full 5.1 DVD Surround Receiver with both stereo and surround modes, a robust slot-loading DVD drive and five gutsy 100W built-in digital power amplifiers to drive your choice of passive loudspeakers, plus an active subwoofer output. It plays audio CDs, MP3 CDs, Video CDs, DVD-Video, and the DVD side of DualDisc hybrids. It can decode Dolby Digital, DTS, MPEG, and MP3 data streams to PCM for stereo and multichannel playback. Stereo and multichannel digital audio outputs are also available via HDMI.

                                                              AMPLIFIERS

The G55 provides clean, superb-quality amplification for surround-sound and other applications requiring a block of five channels. Each channel delivers 100W into 8Ω. Massive twin toroidal transformers and over-engineered power supply ensure that power is always available on demand for high levels and heavy transients. 25 pairs of selected, thermally and electrically matched output devices maximise inter-channel uniformity and the highest efficiency and performance. The result is a clear, open sound with detail as well as punch where it's required

 The G56 stereo amplifier modules feature a symmetrical design with fully electronically-balanced inputs. The discrete active input components are thermally and electrically matched in pairs, and the amplifiers feature active bias control throughout, with thermal sensing that carefully manages the temperature and current flow at different volume levels.

 Part of Meridian's Installation Series, the C50 10 delivers ten channels of powerful amplification (100W/8Ω (160W/4Ω) RMS) in a compact package. The innovative Class D design offers efficient, cool running even at high power outputs, and superb audio quality.
